Meta Company launched the Companion Mode feature in WhatsApp on a trial basis. This feature tries to fix one of WhatsApp’s biggest problems.

With more than 2 billion users, WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app in the world. In terms of the number of daily users, Khalis is more than apps like Facebook Messenger, Telegram and Signal. To maintain this advantage, Meta tries to fix the problems of WhatsApp by providing new updates.

Among the new features of WhatsApp, we can mention the Community and the voting feature. Last winter, it became possible to send erasable messages. Also, the reaction of showing messages with emojis and support for sending heavy files were also added to WhatsApp. Now, a new feature called Companion mode is being tested.

Adding Companion Mode feature in WhatsApp and fixing one of its biggest problems

The big problem that this messenger currently has is not supporting multi-device login in smartphones. In WhatsApp, you cannot log into your account with several different phones at the same time.

The new update, which is currently only available to selected testers (version 2.22.24.18), enables the activation of Companion Mode in WhatsApp. As soon as you do this, you can log in on 4 different phones with the same phone number and stay in your account. Adding devices using QR code is also possible.
It remains to be seen how long the testing process of this new feature will continue and when the Companion mode will be available to all WhatsApp users.
